Electrolytic nickel

Spot: January 7, SMM1 electrolytic nickel quoted 107750-114100 yuan / ton. Today, Russian nickel to Shanghai nickel 2002 rising water 200 to 400 yuan / ton, Russian nickel rising water today continues to rise, early trading hours, individual traders reported 150 yuan / ton rapid transaction 300 tons, and then low-priced goods are difficult to buy. Other holders of basic water up more than 200 yuan / ton, but the volume is not large, nickel prices fell to 1080,000 below, stimulate downstream pick up goods, superimposed facing the Spring Festival replenishment demand, Russia nickel overall transaction improvement. Jinchuan nickel rose 6000-6500 yuan / ton to Shanghai nickel 2002. Jinchuan Shengshui continued to expand, mainly due to the tight supply of Jinchuan in Shanghai. [stainless steel waste prices maintain stable operation] on January 7, the prices of waste stainless steel were generally stable, 304 waste stainless steel prices were quoted at 9350-9550 yuan / ton, 201 waste prices were quoted at 3900-4000 yuan / ton, and 430 waste prices were quoted at 3550-3650 yuan / ton, the prices were all the same as yesterday. According to traders, waste prices have generally stabilized recently, steel mills have generally completed procurement of waste, and the market has entered the end of the transaction. The waste recently acquired by traders will go into inventory and will have to be released after the Spring Festival. Waste prices are not expected to fluctuate significantly in the near future.

Stock

According to SMM research, the total amount of nickel inventory in Shanghai, including the previous warehouse receipt inventory, increased by 447 tons to 85500 tons over the previous week, an increase of 0.5 per cent. Domestic stocks fell slightly from 150 to 67500 tons last week, including about 9400 tons of nickel beans and about 58100 tons of nickel plates. In the same period, refined nickel stocks in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone were about 18000 tons, an increase of 600 tons over the previous week, of which 3400 tons of nickel beans were basically flat from last week.
